Qallupilluit Cryptid Cocktail
Be pulled under the ice like the Qallupilluit might do to you. Combining Alaskan Vodka with blueberry simple syrup, lemon and a touch of blue curaçao, you cannot help but be drawn closer to a frozen grave.
Ingredient Inspiration
- Blueberry Vodka Cocktail
- We used Port Chilkoot Icy Strait Vodka to play homage to the origins of the Qallupilluit.
- Blueberries
- Again, paying tribute to Alaska. Blueberries are one of the native fruits that grow there.
- Lemon used to add a dash of tartiness to cocktail.
- Blue curaçao helps create blue color.
- Ice cube to act as a representation of the cryptid’s warning.
Cryptid Facts & Story Notes
Erick read off the details on the Qallupilluit card, then shared an intriguing tale of a child’s transformation into our cryptid. He then wrapped it up with a conversation about cryptid origins and where some tales of danger may actually originate.
