The Sips & Spirits Cocktail Promise

As you familiarize yourself with what Sips & Spirits does on the podcast, we also have certain goals in mind. It is extremely important when we design cocktails that they are not just friendly to the beginner mixologist, but also affordable. The majority of the ingredients listed can be substituted and suggestions are noted whenever possible.

But that’s not all! Whenever we design an original cocktail, we try to provide a mocktail to match. Whatever the reason, we understand that not everyone wishes to or is able to indulge in alcohol and we find it valuable to offer an alternative so you can still be a part of the fun. See the non-alcoholic version of the Spooky’s Brew cocktail below.

Spooky’s Brew (Non-Alcoholic)

Servings: 1 cocktail

  • Lowball / Mai Tai / Martini style glass (chilled)
  • Jigger
  • Bar spoon (a regular spoon works too)
  • Knife
  • Lemon juicer

  • 2 oz Pomegranate juice
  • 1 half Lemon to be juiced
  • 1/2 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup Make this at home! Bring equal parts of sugar and water to a boil then add sprig of fresh rosemary and let boil for 5 minutes.
  • Pink Lemonade

  • Prechill glass or add ice ball.
  • Add simple syrup, pomegranate juice and juice from half lemon into glass. Stir.
  • Slowly float pink lemonade to desired fill.
  • Slice into body of bat gummy on tail end to place on glass rim.
  • Enjoy!

Some of that mixology terminology a little too confusing for you? Don’t worry! We have you covered with a video you can follow on YouTube after haunting IG Live with us.
