What’s on the menu?

Today, we are calling upon a spirit from Deadhead Rum in Temecula, California and distilled in the jungles of Chiapas, Mexico. We’re using their Single Blended 6 year aged rum to conjure an Island Voodoo cocktail.

I like it!
It’s kind of warm on the palette.
Sugarcane flavor.
I could sip this all day.
Would love to put it in a ti punch.

Island Voodoo Cocktail

I like it!
The banana flavor grows on your tongue.
It’s like a liquid banana foster’s.
It definitely grows as it sits in your mouth.
It’s a warm flavor perfect for summer nights.

Deadhead Rum Shot

Warm rum.
Two flavors to it
There’s a sweetness afterwards and a flavor before it that I can’t place.
Got the molasses flavor.
Agricole is not my thing, but it’s not bad.
If I were to drink this straight up, I’d rate it as a 5/6.
I would have this on occasion, but curious to see how the cocktail tastes.

Island Voodoo Cocktail

There’s a lot of flavors in there.
If you get sensory overload in your cocktails, this might not be the cocktail for you.
Nice by the beach or poolside to enjoy.
If you don’t like babanas, don’t drink this drink.
